Jenny Majerus, Owner
Grand Island, Nebraska

APR 05, 2022

Business sometimes begins as the fulfillment of dreams. This is exactly the case with Jenny Majerus in Grand Island, Nebraska.

Jenny was investigating a variety of businesses that would get her out of the everyday 9-5 grind. Owning her own business has been a goal of hers for a lengthy amount of time. Jenny remembers, “It took me a while to really step up and get serious about leaving my corporate job, but when I made the decision, things began to happen fast. That’s when I found Payroll Vault’s name and began looking into the payroll franchise opportunity.”

She was unsure about franchising at first, but the more she learned about the industry, it quickly became more appealing. Then she began looking into how the Payroll Vault brand was set up and really dove into what it offers from a franchising perspective, and most importantly, the overreaching opportunity. “After speaking with Marilyn and Sean, I knew this was exactly the type of business that I wanted to own,” stated Jenny. “It didn’t take long to figure out that Payroll Vault truly cares about their clients and only wants to help them succeed in business. That was apparent in every person that owns or works for the company.”

After several discussions with other franchisees, Jenny made the decision in August of 2021 to launch her business, Payroll Vault Grand Island. Jenny told us, “I am excited to see how my business will grow and change in the coming months. In the short time in getting my business launched, it has been the most exciting, stressful, and scary time of my life.”

Since we spoke to Jenny last, she has set serious goals for her firm’s growth and has implemented her strategy with fortitude. Ultimately, by the close of the year, she plans to bring an additional salesperson and processor onboard that have the same passion for payroll and that will be dedicated to the firm’s growth and prosperity.

Although she is busy making her dreams come true, she makes time for the more important features of life: camping, gardening, and watching her kids play sports.

We’ll follow up with Jenny to see how her dream of business ownership keep unfolding.
