Littleton, CO (March 01, 2022) – Payroll Vault owner from Pembroke Pines, Florida, Lee Golomb, is recognized as a Franchisee of the Year 2021 by the International Franchise Association. The Franchisee of the Year Award was designed to recognize outstanding IFA member-company franchise establishment owner-operators and is a tribute that is presented during the association’s popular Public Affairs Conference event hosted annually in Washington, D.C. This year, Golomb received the award during the International Franchise Association’s Annual Conference in San Diego, California.

Payroll Vault is a boutique-style local payroll service provider that designs payroll services and workforce management solutions for small to midsize businesses. Each office employs a team of payroll experts that fully handle the compliance-driven payroll tasks to better enable business owners to focus on managing their workforce, inventory, and strengthening key community relationships more effectively.

Golomb was selected from over 60 Payroll Vault franchise offices nationwide. For the last several years, she has sought out a variety of ways to support her local community either individually, by being part of a committee, by organizing a group project, or within her business community. She has set an admirable example of leadership, business acumen, financial and professional success, and contributing to her community.

“I am incredibly honored to receive this recognition from the International Franchise Association. I share this award with our fantastic team. Our success would not be possible without their tireless dedication and positive attitude. Their willingness to go above and beyond to support our business community is amazing,” stated Lee Golomb.

Golomb has successfully created a diverse team at her local Payroll Vault office in South Florida. This diversity is part of their strength and shows through their work every day. She wholeheartedly admits that she is exponentially better than she could ever be than if she were operating on her own. “Our team is strong, and they have grit. Whenever there is a challenge, they choose to see the opportunities for improvement,” says Golomb.

In Lee Golomb’s early career as a manager at Grant Thornton LLP, she helped spearhead initiatives to support professional women in the workplace through mentorships, education, and continuing the dialogue about the mutual benefits of team members having access to work-sharing and flexible work resources. Today she is still giving back to women’s initiatives. One of her priorities is her continued support of Westcare, The Village South, a non-profit residential rehab facility in Pembroke Pines, FL. This non-profit specializes in treating mental health and substance abuse for women. The facility offers a safe place for women and their children to live while the residents recover from substance abuse.

Once COVID-19 foiled her “giving back” in-person opportunities, her efforts turned to virtual platforms. For the past two years, she has made significant contributions to the business community since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020. Her background in public accounting, experience with small and midsize companies, and her detailed knowledge of the various governmental programs designed to support small businesses allowed her to quickly disseminate valuable information to her clients and the small business community. As a result, Golomb began to immerse herself into understanding how her local communities as a whole were being impacted and became an expert on the details of the various stimulus government programs.

“It was a tough and scary time for business owners, and the world as we knew it changed really fast. With the support of the Payroll Vault leadership team, the business acumen of my fellow franchisee owners, and my business partner Eric Golomb, I made it a mission to support our clients. At my core, I knew I also had an obligation to help as many businesses as possible in my local community with the knowledge I had,” states Lee Golomb.

She has fulfilled her mission of spreading knowledge and guidance to small businesses using various platforms. In June 2020, Lee Golomb participated in a panel of community experts in the Life After COVID-19: Business Recovery live webinar. In this webinar, she discussed actionable plans for small businesses to navigate and overcome the economic and financial challenges of COVID-19.

Later, a local news station featured Tricia Lee Golomb and Eric Golomb (husband and co-owner) as payroll superheroes. The Golombs (called the “superman and superwoman of Weston”) discussed Helping Small Business During a Pandemic

Tricia continued her small business outreach by presenting several informative webinars through her local Chambers of Commerce. “Small business owners, especially the mom-and-pop businesses, needed clear information on the ins and outs of the PPP program. This program had so many changes and intricacies and the general public found it challenging to keep up with the changes. Small businesses were starved for accurate and clear guidance on how to get full forgiveness on their PPP loans,” said Tricia.

Afterward, Dentistry Today magazine featured Tricia Lee Golomb. The magazine article gave insight into the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC). Golomb discussed the benefits of dental practices claiming the tax credits to create a cash flow to help navigate their financial challenges due to COVID-19 in this article. Shortly after that, the South Florida District Dental Association invited her to be a guest on their podcast, “Ain’t That The Tooth.”  During the podcast, Golomb discussed the various SBA Programs, insight into the Payroll Protection Program (“PPP”) forgiveness and the ERTC, and advice for dentists to ensure how to maximize the benefits of both programs.

“The past couple years the pandemic has revealed so many of our devoted franchisees that have been exemplary in their efforts, so it was incredibly challenging to whittle down the list of owners that have shined bold and bright,” proudly stated Sean Manning, CEO/Founder of Payroll Vault. “Our leadership team looks at each office and chose the one that wholly exemplifies the Payroll Vault brand’s essence alongside the qualities that make our franchising model successful: A solid commitment to their business and local community, innovative thinking, integrity, and passion to do what’s in the client’s best interest.”

Golomb finishes, “I would like to add that we are a success thanks to the valuable support and responsiveness of the Payroll Vault corporate team. And I continue to be inspired by the knowledge and commitment of the extended Payroll Vault network of franchisees that extends nationally and internationally. Their high standard of excellence pushes me to bring my best every day.”
